As part of Vijazz 2026, the Chapel of San Juan hosts the latest pictorial series by Joan Hurtado, Canano, an artist who always works from vital and natural concepts. The exhibition, open until August 2, invites the viewer to reflect on the duality of life and death through wine scenes where small characters — often imperceptible to the naked eye — acquire prominence.
The hours are wide: from Wednesday to Friday (18.00-21.00 h) and Saturdays and Sundays (12.00-14.00 h and 18.00-20.00 h), with official opening on Thursday 2 July at 19.00 h. The proposal perfectly dialogues with the spirit of the festival, which combines jazz and wine throughout the town.
Visiting this exhibition is an excellent way to enrich the cultural agenda of the coming weeks: before or after a concert, between tastings, or simply taking advantage of the cool evening in the Gothic cloister of the chapel.
