BackThe little ones (and also the big ones) now have the perfect excuse to become naturalists for a day. All you have to do is book the Naturalist Backpack at the Tourist Office, pick it up with the €10 deposit and enter the trails that go up to Sant Pau. Inside the backpack are binoculars, magnifying glass boxes, identification sheets and game proposals that help analyze leaves, animal tracks or geological formations.
There are no guides or schedules: everyone chooses when to start and how much time to dedicate to each challenge, so it is a very flexible option to include in our weekly agenda. In addition, when returning the backpack in good condition, the deposit is fully recovered, so the activity is practically free and encourages respect for the material.
The proposed itinerary is circular, combines the shadows of pine forests with lights open over the vineyards, and offers spectacular views of Vilafranca. An educational, sustainable and 100% Penedès adventure, especially recommended for families with children between 5 and 12 years old.
