BackAfter the successful reinvention of 2025, the Calima Festival consolidates this year its commitment to summer nights full of good music and outdoor stages. From July 16 to 18, the outdoor area of the Municipal Auditorium Maria Rosa Juncosa, in the Sports Zone, will be filled with large format concerts, while the courtyard of the Municipal Youth Hostel will host the OFF zone with more intimate and close live performances.
Under the motto “A particular festival”, Calima combines styles and genres to satisfy very diverse audiences, from emerging bands to consolidated proposals. The organization — in charge of the City Council's Culture Service — guarantees food trucks, chill-out spaces and an accessibility device so that everyone can enjoy it. Tickets can be purchased online or on site, although it is recommended to buy them in advance to avoid queues.
This great cultural umbrella also includes children's activities (“Xics Calima”), electronic jam sessions and meeting spaces for local artists. It is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Penedès cultural agenda in the coming weeks and an excellent reason to visit Vilafranca when the sun goes down and the wine refreshes the conversation between friends.
