With the harvest almost finished, Vilafranca invites you to explore its most hidden corners with the activity “Open Vilafranca”. For two days, owners of private buildings, entities and institutions open doors that are usually closed to the public: modernist courtyards, old urban cellars, rooftops with views or salons that still exude perfume from other eras.
The initiative, inspired by European open architecture festivals, goes beyond the simple visit: many spaces offer small musical samples, narrations of family stories or tastings that help to understand the wine and commercial footprint of the town. In this way, neighbors and visitors recover collective memory and discover everyday treasures that often go unnoticed.
“Obrim Vilafranca” has established itself as a participatory experience, without prior reservation and free of charge, which symbolically closes the festive cycle of the summer and reminds us that the best way to love heritage is to share it.
