Vilafranca cannot be understood without its past — and present — winemaking. The Footprints of Wine route invites us to make an exciting kilometer through the old town to rediscover, station by station, the mark that wineries, merchants and farmers have left on the streets. The starting point is the Tourist Office and the route extends to Carrer del Comerç, passing through seven interpretive panels that work autonomously but that, together, draw a coherent story.
Each station combines historical content with graphic elements and QR codes, and emphasizes topics such as the role of guilds, wine architecture or the large fairs that fill the town with merchants. It is a walk designed to be done freely any day of the week - an ideal proposal to incorporate into the cultural agenda of these next four weeks. The layout is flat and accessible, so people of all ages can enjoy it without difficulty.
Organized by: Tourist Service. Free activity, without prior reservation, perfect to combine with a vermouth in the center or a visit to the surrounding museum spaces.
