The Off Calima line continues on Friday evening with a risky proposal: a jam session of live electronics led by Jolly Damper, a producer who fuses ambient textures with urban rhythms and who lands at the Youth Hostel accompanied by some students of the electronic music workshop co-organized with the Maria Dolors Calvet school.
The experience invites the audience to witness the creation in real time: synthesizers, pads, electronic drums and processed voices combine on stage while LED screens project visuals that are generated instantly.
More than a conventional concert, the night is a sound laboratory where artists and audiences share experimentation and, if encouraged, take the stage to add one more layer to the base that marks Jolly Damper.
The session reinforces Calima's pedagogical vocation and consolidates the festival as a platform for the new batch of Penedès producers to make the leap from recording studios to the warmth of the stage.
