The first big night in the auditorium of the Calima 2026 Festival brings together two of the bands with the most projection of festive rock in Catalan. Ouineta, with its melodies that look at the Mediterranean but drink from the power-pop of the nineties, will open the evening in front of an audience called to sing each return.
Then, Dan Peralbo and the Comboi will raise the temperature with guitars as fresh as they are irreverent and lyrics that talk about everyday life with equal parts humor and tenderness. The Osonense group lands in Vilafranca after touring the main festivals of the country and promises a danceable end to the night full of good energy.
Between performance and performance, the auditorium's armchair patio will be transformed into a standing arena so that everyone can approach the stage, while the festival bars offer DO Penedès wines and cavas and tapas made with local products.
The concert is part of the program promoted by the City Council to relaunch the Calima, a cycle that had rested for a few years and that returns with the intention of becoming the musical reference pole of summer nights in the Alt Penedès.
