The VINSEUM leaves the shop windows for a morning to become a small gastronomic laboratory. After a short walk through the Mercat de la Carn — where participants learn to identify seasonal and local products — the group returns to the museum's kitchen to prepare three fresh and creative recipes using freshly purchased ingredients.
Families work as a team, share utensils and discover simple tricks to make vegetables more fun or take advantage of fruits from the Penedès. Meanwhile, museum educators explain the winemaking origin of many products and the importance of kilometer zero.
It is a workshop designed for children from 6 years old, but also for parents and grandparents who want to spend a different morning and take a summer recipe book. Prior reservation is required and capacity is limited to fifteen families.
