Experience “We paint the vineyard with wine” at Cava & Hotel Mastinell

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to paint a painting using the same wine that you will later taste? The activity “Paint the vineyard with wine” offers just that: a day in which nature, oenology and artistic expression are intertwined in the vineyard of the emblematic Cava & Hotel Mastinell.
The session begins with a guided walk among mature vines, where the characteristics of the native varieties and the manual harvesting process that identifies the Penedès region are explained. Once in the tasting area, a local artist introduces the basic techniques of painting with wine — dilutions, gradients, mixing with natural pigments — and each participant receives material to create their own work on cotton paper.
While the brushes move, Mastinell's sommeliers serve different cavas and still wines from the winery, explaining their aromatic notes and suggesting textures that can inspire new strokes. The day ends with a group photograph and the delivery of a personalized diploma, as well as the possibility of buying a frame and a mat to take the finished piece.
This unique proposal, which is held only once every summer, is an ideal opportunity to connect with the land in a playful and sensory way, and to take an artistic memory that literally preserves the essence of the Penedès.
