Concert of Amaia Miranda in the Cloister of San Francesc

The collected Gothic cloister of San Francisco becomes a sound bubble on Friday night thanks to the Basque guitarist and composer Amaia Miranda. Known for her delicate way of making the sixth string speak and for a voice that caresses each syllable, Miranda arrives in Vilafranca with a show halfway between the intimate concert and the performance of sound textures.
For about an hour, the musician dialogues guitar, loops and subtle effects to paint emotional landscapes that travel from folk to modern minimalism. The public sits on the perimeter of the cloister, lit with candles and warm lights that highlight the architecture of the 13th century.
The concert is part of the summer cycle promoted by the Department of Culture to bring emerging artists from all over the State to heritage spaces of Vilafranca, highlighting the natural sound of stones that have seen more than seven hundred years of history.
Tickets are numbered and can be purchased on the spectacles.vilafranca.cat platform; capacity is limited to 150 people to preserve the intimate character of the proposal.
