Calima Festival — Off Calima: Crisbru and Sanrruu

The first contact with the renewed Calima 2026 Festival in Vilafranca del Penedès arrives on Thursday afternoon and does so with the OFF CALIMA formula: an intimate, close space designed to discover emerging projects of the independent scene. On the stage installed at the Hostel de Joventut, Barcelona's Crisbru will display her electronic pop with urban roots, while Martin-based Sanrruu will emphasize sounds that drink folk and musical poetry.
For about two hours, the public will be able to enjoy a double concert under the porch surrounded by pine trees that surround the hostel, an environment designed so that the spectator enters and leaves freely, converse with the artists and, if desired, sit in the fresh air with a wine or a craft beer from the Penedès in hand.
The session is presented as the initial beat of a festival that this year wants to emphasize proximity and the mixture of styles, and invites Vilafranquins and visitors to be surprised by proposals that are not yet integrated into the big stages but that already arouse interest in specialized circuits.
Organizers remember that access is free, with limited capacity, and recommend arriving in time to enjoy the sunset on the southern slope of Sant Jaume hill before Crisbru's warm electronics and Sanrruu's acoustic textures take over from the silence.
