BackIf you are looking for fresh air and postcard scenery without leaving the municipality, the Entre vinyes itinerary is your activity for the next weekends. The 3.45 km that separate the Balcó de les Clotes from the foothills of Sant Pau pass through an agricultural environment full of dry stone walls, cereal fields and, above all, vineyards of varieties such as Parellada or Sumoll.
Along the way you will find panels explaining the cycle of the vineyard, the typical aromatic flora (thyme, rosemary) and even some bird watching point. The slope is gentle - about 40 meters positive - and the route can be done on foot in about 50 minutes. It is ideal for families: the brochure “Play Among Vineyards”, which can be downloaded for free, turns the walk into an adventure full of questions, clues and drawings.
You can do it freely any day, choosing the time that suits you best. Remember to bring water and sun protection - the paths are sunny - and, if you want to extend the experience, just go up to the hermitage of Sant Pau to enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Penedès.
