On Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 20.00 to 22.00 h, the Pati de Can Guineu is once again dressed up to host a new session of the prestigious VI Cycle of sparkling wine tastings organized by Territori Effervescent. Having explored monovarietals from Xarel·lo, this day's evening focuses on aged rosés, a style that combines the freshness of red fruit with the complexity of aging in cava.
The guest winemaker takes a tour of different vintages and elaborators of the Penedès, explaining how ripening on lees brings aromas of brioche, subtle toasts and a finer bubble. The tasting pairs each glass with small bites of local produce — goat cheeses and royal pork sausages — to highlight nuances.
The Pati de Can Guineu, with its modernist architecture and the shade of centuries-old trees, offers an intimate atmosphere that invites conversation between amateurs and professionals. The capacity is limited to 30 places and the price is €40 per person, an investment that includes a technical cup, dossier and discount for future visits to the Cava Centre.
