The secrets of two liquid gold from Catalonia — Marida'm 2026

On October 17, 2026 at 12.00 pm, the Celler de la Fassina in Can Guineu hosts a new session of the Marida'm cycle, dedicated to discovering “the secrets of two liquid golds of Catalonia”: cava and extra virgin olive oil from the Siurana PDO. The 90-minute guided tasting proposes a sensory journey to compare textures, aromas and nuances of the two star products of the Mediterranean.

Attendees will learn to recognize the aromas of cava gran reserva and the positive attributes of the oil: fruity, bitter and spicy. Each tasting is accompanied by small bites designed to highlight the complexity of each of the “golds”, such as toasts of peasant bread, cured cheese and dark chocolate.

The price is €20 and tickets - limited - can be purchased in advance through the Giglon platform. The activity is organized by the Tourist Service with the complicity of sommeliers and oleologists, aware that pairing is key to continuing to project Sant Sadurní beyond the bubble.
