Festa Major de Can Catassús 2026

The small town of Can Catassús is celebrated on August 15 and 16, 2026 to celebrate its Festa Major, a meeting of neighbors that keeps alive the spirit of the village within the municipality of Sant Sadurní. The program, family-oriented and completely free, concentrates sports activities, live music and the traditional popular lunch.

Saturday 15 August starts with bells ringing and water inflatables for children, while the evening hosts the parade with the Old Giants of Sant Sadurní and the night dance with a local DJ. On Sunday 16 August, after the religious service, the central square is transformed into a sardana track and space for the tortilla contest between neighbors, a classic that always ends with a collective tasting.

The Festa Major is organized entirely by the Can Catassús Festival Commission, which year after year works to maintain the neighborhood's own identity and strengthen neighborhood ties. There is a bar service with local products and a marked parking area to facilitate access for visitors.
