“Discover Sant Sadurní Anecdótic” is a guided walking route that complements the visit to the Cava Centre and invites the visitor to walk through the most emblematic streets of the town while discovering characters, legends and small stories that often go unnoticed. The meeting point is at the entrance of the museum itself, on Hospital Street, and the approximate duration is one hour, enough time to understand how the cava industry transformed a small agricultural nucleus into the world capital of bubbles.
The tour, led by a local guide, emphasizes modernist buildings such as Can Guineu or the Casa de la Vila, stops in front of the sculpture of the Philoxera and explains curious details, such as the origin of Raval Street or the anecdotes of the first carriages that carried champagne to the port of Barcelona. The experience ends with a brief cava tasting in the gardens of the Cava Centre.
The tour package has a price of €12 per person (minimum groups of six) and also includes the entrance to the interpretation center, with large format audiovisuals, an immersive space dedicated to the Festa de la Fil·loxera and the solving of enigmas linked to the key moments of the cavaire sector. Advance reservation is required; it is held on weekends and holidays, and the organization recommends wearing comfortable shoes.
