On September 6, 2026, at 6.15 pm, the Town Hall Square turns into a giant roll with the sardana dance that opens the autumn season. On this occasion, the music comes from the hand of the renowned Cobla Maricel, a band born in Sitges that stands out for its clean sound and a powerful metal section.
The event is organized by Foment Sardanista Sant Sadurní, an entity that this year celebrates 80 years promoting the national dance of Catalonia. Between classical pieces and contemporary compositions, dancers will be able to enjoy short and long airs suitable for all levels.
The event is free and open to residents and visitors. No prior registration is required: just want to dance and, if desired, bring a picnic basket to end the afternoon sharing bread with tomato and cava in the same square.
