Awards ceremony of the domino tournament of the Casal Municipal

After weeks of games played table to table, on July 17, 2026 at 18.00 h the Municipal House of the Elderly will celebrate the closing ceremony of its traditional domino tournament. The main hall of Paseo Can Ferrer, 11 will welcome participants, family and friends in a ceremony that combines sports recognition and community spirit.

The award, organized by Pere Rubies with the support of the Junta del Casal, pays tribute to the best classified but also highlights the importance of traditional play as a tool for mental agility and social cohesion. There is no lack of anecdotes about the most epic games, nor the final toast with local cava, the flagship of the town.

The event is free and open to all members, who take the opportunity to register for the next year's activities: soft gymnastics, online dancing and computer courses. It is, in short, an afternoon to applaud the talent of the grandparents and remember that active aging is a fundamental pillar of Sant Sadurní.
